Another amazing wedding day at Mountain Branch in Joppa, MD! Olivia and Brandon are both so much fun and so ~chill~. I seriously think that the days of bridezilla’s are over because all of mine are so sweet and calm! I feel that the only thing Olivia was worried about was getting to go home with Brandon a married woman!
With the recent passing of the her grandfather, Olivia did an amazing job ensuring he was still a part of her big day. A seat with his photograph was reserved right next to her grandmother and a special tribute song was done with the family. I also had the opportunity to photograph his dog tags which is truly such an honor.
Originally calling for rain all day, the storms held out justtt long enough to get through the Ceremony and sprinkling a little love onto the couple when we attempted to get some newlywed photos. We decided to push off couples portraits until sunset and got the most perfect, glowy, golden, light AND a rainbow which is truly what my photographer dreams are made of.
Just like the rain couldn’t put a damper on the day, neither could a couple little power outages! The guests were a blast, matching the bride and groom’s vibe, not letting the power outages stop the party. When the lights and music stopped, an impromptu phone light show ~equipped with music~ broke out.
Everything about their day was perfectly imperfect just like a good wedding should be! I’m so happy for the both of you and wish you the happiest of marriages!
